The Evidence
Signed Reports.
Not Marketing Claims.
RuBee’s claims are unusual — 100% reads through steel, zero safe separation distance on ordnance, no compromising emanations. So the proof is unusual too: signed government test reports from the US DOE, NAVSEA, and national laboratories. Every document below is hosted here, downloadable.

Government Test Reports
US Department of Energy · June 2011 · PDF
Advanced Inventory and Materials Management at Pantex
A five-year stage-gate pilot study of auto-ID technologies at the Pantex nuclear weapons plant. Conclusion: RuBee is the only acceptable safe, secure, and accurate auto-ID solution in harsh, high-explosive environments — approved for secure areas with 100% read rates.
US Navy NAVSEA · July 2012 · PDF
HERO Test Report — Zero Safe Separation Distance (signed)
Signed NAVSEA testing under the Hazards of Electromagnetic Radiation to Ordnance program: RuBee tags, handhelds, and base stations have a zero (0) SSD on HERO SAFE and HERO UNSAFE ordnance. Other wireless typically carries 3–12 foot SSDs.
IEEE International Security Conference · 2010 · PDF
The Physics Behind High-Security Wireless Visibility Networks
Conference paper on RuBee’s 131 kHz long-wavelength design — and the security testing behind “no compromising emanations,” including DOE evaluations at Oak Ridge.
FDA · Mayo Clinic · PDF
Human Safety: FDA Class 1 NSR & Mayo EMI Study
In 2006 the FDA classified IEEE 1902.1 as a Class 1, Non-Significant Risk device. The Mayo Clinic EMI study shows no effect on pacemakers, ICDs, or operating-room equipment — roughly one million times below OSHA RF limits.
Sandia National Laboratories · 2018 · PDF
Declassified RF Safety Report — Sensitive Electro-Explosive Devices
SAND2018-6928: magnetic-field coupling from a RuBee loop antenna to even an idealized unshielded EED lead loop is shown to be negligible — including 45 mW no-fire devices. Lithium coin-cell hazards also addressed.
US DOE / Oak Ridge · INMM · PDF
Oak Ridge: RuBee Replaces RFID in DOE Armories
“RuBee™ radio tags are the only tags tested able to meet both the performance requirements and operate at a frequency which is suitable for deployment in secure facilities.”
Visible Assets · PDF
HERF White Paper — Zero SSD on Flammables & Explosives
Detailed treatment of Hazards of Electromagnetic Radiation to Fuel: why RuBee is HERF ZERO and safe on impact explosives.
