Every 20/20 solution is a real-time visibility and security network built on the same RuBee (IEEE 1902.1) foundation: tags that read 100% through steel, antennas that sculpt exact reading volumes, and the Dot-Tag / rubee.io software platform on top. RuBee systems are in current use in some of the most secure sites in the USA.
Weapon Accountability
Armory 20/20®
An integrated weapons visibility and security network. RuBee tags are securely embedded in each weapon, weapons are stored on RuBee-enabled Smart Racks, and everything is managed by the Armory 20/20 application — real-time audits, unchallengeable digital logs, and BATF-ready reports with no change in process for the armorer.
Smart Racks — accurate real-time audits
Weapons on the rack are physical inventory. Full armory audits run automatically, many times a day, in 10–20 minutes — no serial-number counts.
Issuance station — user accountability
Check in/out transfers ownership from armory to end-user, with CAC card reader, date, time, and both IDs recorded.
DoorGuard — absolute perimeter security
Exit/entry portals detect any tagged weapon — even hidden in a steel case wrapped in aluminum foil. Properly issued weapons pass; anything else alarms.
RFID armory systems provide no local security (a hand blocks the tag) and create global risk: an RF tag can be detected up to 80 miles away, making a tagged weapon an enemy target. RuBee has no eavesdropping, tempest, or target risk.

Allegro 20/20®
Allegro is a patented, secure, RuBee-enabled Weapons Shot Counting tag with NIST-traceable shock sensors — but it doesn’t just count shots. As each round fires, Allegro captures the Impulse Response Function — the weapon’s EKG — and a custom ultra-low-power signal processor diagnoses weapon health from it, based on gun physics.
The result is maintenance warnings like a modern car’s dashboard: needs cleaning, gas port erosion, barrel erosion and accuracy loss, bolt at risk of cracking, barrel burnout, rising jam risk — predicted before failure in the field.
Battlefield radio silent
RF shot counters are radio direction-finding targets from up to 80 miles — even switched off, their tuned circuits reflect. RuBee produces no compromising emanations.
Four form factors
Built into the grip, surface mount, barrel handle, or rail mount — no effect on weapon performance, washable in acetone in an ultrasonic bath.
Read anywhere
Shot data is read on the Smart Rack, at the issuance station, or in the field with a MiniCom USB reader and a rugged tablet — a secure two-way RuBee link, no line of sight.
Armory integrated
Shot-count and diagnostic data captured automatically every time the weapon rests on an Armory 20/20 Smart Rack — at up to 6 tags per second.
Sensitive Item Stores
Store 20/20®
Real-time visibility, security, audit trails, and accountability for high-value sensitive items — including munitions and explosives, because RuBee is the only wireless that is explosive-safe (HERF ZERO) and fused-ordnance-safe (HERO ZERO) with a zero Safe Separation Distance. Only RuBee can automatically read tags across a large store bay stacked with steel and liquids on pallets.

Layer 1 · StoreGuard
Automatic audits of every pallet, case, and serialized item in storage — antennas in the bay floor read each tag in place.
Layer 2 · PalletPad
Issuance check in/out with high-reliability reads — and optional pallet weighing to ±10 grams using Surface Acoustic Wave technology for non-serialized items like ammunition.
Layer 3 · DoorGuard / GateGuard
Exit/entry detection at doors and vehicle gates. Correctly issued items pass; unauthorized removals trigger a programmable alarm — hidden assets included.
Layer 4 · VanGuard (optional)
Mobile asset and personnel visibility as items move store-to-store or to forward in-use sites.

“How do I prevent accidental cell phone and sensitive-item entry into our secure areas?” DoorGuard xP is the standalone answer: a RuBee portal at the door that detects tagged phones, laptops, weapons, keys, USB sticks, and documents on anyone passing through — in any bag, pocket, or purse, in a steel briefcase, even wrapped in aluminum foil under your hand.
At installed sites, DoorGuard xP has cut accidental cell phone entry by over 98%. Visible has over 200 DoorGuards installed worldwide, across more than 1,200 RuBee sites.

Underneath is a Linux-based RuBee router driving multiple synchronized antennas — runs standalone, or networked under Alert 20/20 on Dot-Tag for alarm control, event reports, and audit trails. Also configurable as GateGuard for vehicles: five IDs read in a moving vehicle with 100% asset detection in customer acceptance testing. Brookhaven National Labs ran DoorGuard flawlessly for three years tracking personnel in a high-radiation area — after giving up on RFID.
