The Physics of RuBee Security
RuBee does not have the widely publicized security risks found with wireless Credit Cards. Wireless Credit Cards are wide open to eavesdropping, or what is now called "electronic pick pocketing" (see Video Electronic Pickpocket). RuBee Visibility Wireless Networks are secure and can not be cracked or monitored. RuBee is installed in some of the most highly secure sites in the world, providing real-time, mission critical asset visibility, where all other wireless systems have been banned. (see Security Features Q&A Summary).
Why? Because RuBee has optional secure encryption, with asymmetric public and private keys. Rubee also provides a secure physical data communication layer that eliminates the risk of eavesdropping, tempest threat and target threat.
We review the important issues associated with secure asset visibility networks in a detailed white paper, (RuBee (IEEE 1902.1) – The Physics Behind, Real-Time, High Security Wireless Asset Visibility Networks in Harsh Environments, J Stevens, C. Weich, R. Gilchrist, September 2010) published at a recent International Security Conference sponsored by the IEEE.
