RuBee replaces RFID in DoE Armories
This independent white paper was written by the US Department of Energy. It describes both the technical problems they had with passive RFID in armories, and a serious passive RFID security risks. It concludes that since RuBee is magnetic, it has no technical risks and worked as specified, and RuBee has no security risks. Since the publication, RuBee has been installed in an undisclosed number of additional DoE Armories including the highest security facility within the USA - Pantex (see Pantex Description).
Conclusion: "RuBee™ radio tags are the only tags tested able to meet both the performance requirements and operate at a frequency which is suitable for deployment in secure facilities."
